Bondable ("we", "us", "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your personal information when you use the Bondable dating platform ("Service").
Because Bondable serves people with physical disabilities and chronic illness, we handle sensitive health-related information with the highest level of care. We will never sell your personal data — especially your health information — to third parties.
By using Bondable, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the Service.
We collect the following categories of information:
Account Information: Name, email address, date of birth, password, and profile photo when you register.
Profile Information: Information you voluntarily add to your profile, including location, interests, relationship goals, and your "Dateability Deets" — which may include your disability or chronic illness, energy levels, access needs, and disclosure preferences.
Communications: Messages you send and receive through the platform. We store these to deliver the Service and for safety purposes.
Usage Data: Pages visited, features used, time spent on the app, search queries, and interactions with other profiles (likes, super likes, profile views).
Device & Technical Data: IP address, browser type, operating system, device identifiers, and crash reports.
Payment Information: Subscription and purchase transactions are processed by GoDaddy Payments. We do not store full payment card details on our servers.
Location Data: General location (city/region) based on your profile settings. We do not track precise GPS location without your explicit consent.
Bondable is unique in that members may voluntarily share information about their disability or chronic illness through the Dateability Deets feature. This is considered sensitive personal data and we treat it accordingly.
This information is entirely voluntary. You choose what to share, how much detail to provide, and your comfort level with disclosure.
Your health and disability information is used solely to:
• Display on your profile to other members as you configure it.
• Help match you with compatible partners who understand your needs.
• Improve accessibility features and community resources within the app.
We will NEVER use your health or disability information for advertising targeting, sell it to insurers, employers, or data brokers, or share it with any third party without your explicit consent.
You may update or remove this information from your profile at any time through your account settings.
We use the information we collect to:
• Create and manage your account and profile.
• Connect you with compatible matches and facilitate communication.
• Process payments and manage subscriptions.
• Send service-related notifications (new matches, messages, account alerts).
• Improve, personalize, and expand the Service.
• Monitor and enforce our Community Guidelines and Terms of Service.
• Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and safety violations.
• Comply with legal obligations.
We do not use your data for automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects without human review.
We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service.
When you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal, safety, or fraud prevention purposes.
Messages may be retained for up to 90 days after account deletion for safety and abuse investigation purposes, after which they are permanently deleted.
Aggregated, anonymized data that cannot identify you may be retained indefinitely for analytics and service improvement.
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your personal information, including:
• Encryption of data in transit (TLS/HTTPS) and at rest.
• Secure, access-controlled infrastructure.
• Regular security audits and vulnerability assessments.
• Strict internal access controls — only authorized personnel can access personal data.
However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your data, we cannot guarantee absolute security.
If we become aware of a data breach that affects your personal information, we will notify you in accordance with applicable law.
Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:
Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
Correction: Request that we correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
Deletion: Request that we delete your personal data ("right to be forgotten").
Portability: Request your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
Objection: Object to certain types of processing, including direct marketing.
Withdrawal of Consent: Withdraw consent for processing based on consent at any time.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at privacy@bondableme.com. We will respond within 30 days.
You may also delete your account at any time through your account settings, which initiates the data deletion process.
Bondable is not intended for anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors.
If we become aware that we have collected personal data from a person under 18 without parental consent, we will take steps to delete that information immediately.
If you believe a minor has created an account on Bondable, please contact us at privacy@bondableme.com.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you by email or through a prominent notice in the app at least 14 days before the changes take effect.
Your continued use of the Service after the effective date of the revised policy constitutes your acceptance of the changes.
